🔹What is ICO file format?

• The ICO file formatis an image file format for computer icons in Microsoft Windows. ICO files contain one or more small images at multiple sizes and color depths, such that they may be scaled In Windows, all executables that display an icon to the user, on the desktop, in the Start Menu, or in Windows Explorer, must carry the icon in ICO format.

🔹How to create .ICO File Format in Photoshop?

Normally in Photoshop there is no option for saving .ICO File Format, like for PNG, JPEG and BMP etc.
But when we need it, so what to do, don’t be afraid, I have solution for it, mean how you can create .ICO FILE Format in Photoshop.

Follow the given below steps

🔴 (1):-Frist of all download the Plugin by clicking below given Button.

🔴 (2):- after downloading the plugin, go to the download folder, Right click on plugin, then Extract Here
After extracting the file, open the file.

🔴 (3):- Now select your operating system, if you using 32bit, so open 32bit folder, and if you using 64bit so open 64bit folder, (Note= if you don’t know How to check your window is 32bit or 64bit, so watch my this video by clicking the given link below= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twod0rEq5c4&t=15s)

🔴 (4):-after opening the 32bit or 64bit, Right click ICOFormat, and Copy it.

🔴 (5):- Now go to “My Computer”, then “Local Disk(c:)”, then “Program Files”, then “Adobe” then Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 etc. or if you installed two or more version of Photoshop in your computer, so select the those version in which you wants to installed the “Plugin”.

🔴 (6):- After selecting Adobe Photoshop, open “Plug-ins” and then Paste Here by entering “Cntl+v”, after “Cntl+V”, click on Continue.

🔴 (7):- Now again go to Photoshop, and restart your Photoshop.

🔴 (8):- After restarting the Photoshop, go to File and create New File or type (Cntl+N), and select the size (128px * 128px)
Width=128px
Height=128px
(Note:- for creating .ICO File format, you need to enter the Maximum size is 128px * 128Px, if you enter the size more the 128px, then you will not be able to create/save .ico file, so you must enter the maximum size is 128px * 128px)
And then adjust your icon.

🔴 (9):- go to File and click on “Save” now enter “File Name” and click on “Save as Type” in format option there will be a option name on “ICO (Window Icon) (*.ICO)” click on it, and then click on “Save”

🔴 (10):-Now your .ICO File Format is almost ready to use any Where.
